Yes... but I don't think it applieS to all situationS... LOL, sometimes you knock them down and the guard dog tries to bite your head off. :/
1:39 pm
or sometimes they're really just meant to keep certain people out.

hahah...maybe...=P

i think we just need to enjoy the flowers you find in the cracks. the wallflowers, if you will. sometimes we're so busy running that we forget to stop and smell the roses.
(i have no idea what i'm talking about by the way. i like moats.)

i like moats too! they're good for protection and keeping the unwanted out. but then again you always have ppl who try to swim across, convincing themselves the moat is a welcome invitation.
it's important to stop and smell the roses. but just stop where you are and stick to the ones around you. please.

LOL the conversation is starting to get very "philosophical" and deeply profound... too deep maybe :P Are you trying to make some indirect references to certain stuff there? *confused*...
Let me attempt to add some "Clarica" or "Clarity" to the situation... Clarity in Christ that is... CC...bleh...
Let's try to see things from Christ' perspective. "For God so loved the world..." [John 3:16a] This is an INCLUSIVE statement. God didn't love "His world" or "our world" or "your world", but "THE world"... "while we were still sinners, Christ died for us..." It's clear, that biblically, God didn't put "walls" to block us out, yes, maybe He wanted to see how hard we would try to seek after Him? No, I don't think so. Yes, you may say that God gives us trials and temptations to test us [James], but hey, that applies to Christians right? Which are ALREADY in a LOVING RELATIONSHIP with our God and Saviour Jesus Christ and God is already "dining" with them [Rev 3:20]...
Anyhow, I'll try to put this to a short conclusion before I "sermon" her blog, LOL I guess the title would be "No walls In Christ..." Ok, well I already know this truth, but I think the speaker at my summer retreat put it nicely. He says "Jesus did not write anyone off"... not the lepards, not the ill, not the hideously demon possessed, not the dead (Lazarus), although before being in Christ we are all "dead", not even those who betray and disown him (Judas and Peter)!
As Christians, we shouldn't "block" anyone out... Jesus tells us to "love our neighbours" and that whatever we do onto others we do until Him. The Apostle Paul also reminds us not to destroy our brothers (and sisters) from "whom Christ died". Ok, I've been meaning to apologiSe and make up with a certain Someone since God convicted my heart from the summer camp speaker two weeks ago by now... it's time for me to "be a man" and "do the right(eous) thing"... Besides how can I "preach" it here if I don't "pratice what I preach"? But whoever reads this, please pray for me, because as Joycie put it "sometimes they're really just meant to keep certain people out."
